Talking Heads - The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads Between 1980, year of the recording of Remain In Light, and 1983, when Speaking In Tongues was recorded, the band doesn't make any new album. But in the meantime appears a double LP with live recordings from Talking Heads.

The first LP, "The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads 1977-1979" contains songs recorded live during the first years of the band. The first side was recorded on the Northern Studio, Maynard, Massachusetts, on 17-11-1977. The second side was recorded on the Capitol Theater, Passaic, New Jersey, on 17-11-1979:

The second LP, "The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads 1980-81" contains several live recordings made on the Emerald City, Cherry Hill, New Jersey (8-9-1980); on Central Park, New York (27-8-1980); and on the Sun Plaza Concert Hall, Tokyo, Japan (27-2-1981):
